On the LB7 engine, it is common for corrosion to occur around the line and nut area near the injector connector inlet. Reuse of the injection line increases the possibility of introducing contamination into the injector risking a premature failure. One option is to clean the lines per the GM technical bulletin however, this is a unproductive process with its own risks of introducing contamination into the injector.
